Wide
Open Sky

Fourteen cinematic soul stories shaped by instinct, city heat, tenderness, memory and survival.

The record

The first kingdom

Wide Open Sky introduced Moda Moore's world: an old ape moving through an asphalt jungle, surrounded by vinyl hiss, streetlights, strangers and stubborn tenderness. The record looks backward without living in the past.
